The stems
Thirty yellow tulips. Tulips are one of the few cut flowers that are still alive in the ordinary sense: the stems keep growing in the vase, often an inch or more, and the heads lean toward the light. That movement is the point, and a tulip bouquet on day four is a different arrangement from the one that arrived. They open by day and close again in the evening.
Availability
Tulips are available all year on the Los Angeles market through imports. We do not publish a California season for them because there is no grower calendar we can stand behind.
Care
- Cold water, and only 3-4 inches of it. Tulips take up water fast and a deep vase makes the stems go soft.
- Rotate the vase daily, or the whole bunch will lean one way.
- If they flop, roll the bunch snugly in paper, recut, and stand them in deep cold water for an hour; they usually stiffen back up.
- Keep them out of the sun and away from daffodils, whose sap shortens tulip life.

Order by 3:00 PM Pacific for same-day delivery; express in 2-3 hours, "Ready Now" in about an hour from a limited selection. If the flowers arrive and they are not fresh, we replace them or refund you.

Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes. Order by 3:00 PM Pacific and your flowers are made and delivered the same day, anywhere we cover in Los Angeles. Deliveries run from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. After the cutoff, our Ready Now selection still leaves in about an hour, up to 9:00 PM, from a limited range made up that morning.
Can I specify a time for delivery?
Yes, by arrangement. Call or message us on +1 (626) 888-8449 before you order rather than booking it online — a specific delivery window carries a $30 charge depending on the area. Without that, we deliver between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Same-day delivery is available across Los Angeles for orders placed before 3:00 PM Pacific.
What happens if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery?
We contact you before we leave flowers anywhere. If the recipient cannot be reached, we hold the flowers in water at the studio and arrange a second attempt with you, usually the next day. Tell us when you order if the address is an office, a hotel, a hospital or a gated house — each one needs different handling.
Do you offer express delivery?
Yes. Express takes 2 to 3 hours from order to door across Los Angeles. Ready Now is faster still — about an hour, from a limited selection made up that morning. If it is urgent, call us on +1 (626) 888-8449 and we will tell you straight away what is possible for that address today.
Can I request specific flowers or colors for my arrangement?
Not through the website — what you see on this page is what we make. But we do take requests by phone. Call us on +1 (626) 888-8449 and ask for Olivia: she buys at the Los Angeles Flower District several mornings a week and can tell you what is genuinely good today and what she can build around it.
How can I track my order?
You get an SMS at every step — order confirmed, out for delivery, and delivered with a photo. If anything looks wrong in that photo, reply or call us and we will deal with it the same day.
